Alarm
Response
The
Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) has introduced a policy
for the police response to alarms. This policy puts the responsibility
firmly on the owner of the premises, to ensure the alarm is genuine
and that a police presence is necessary at the premises. Please read
the ACPO POLICY ON POLICE RESPONSE TO SECURITY SYSTEMS
It
is three o'clock on a cold, winter morning and your alarm is giving
early warning of a break-in or a fire. Are you or key members of your
staff ready in a very short time to alert the police, check the premises
and reset the alarm? How much less wearisome to entrust a set of keys
to Emro Security Bureau.
We
provide a fast, effective response to any security emergency or alarm
activation by sending a trained Officer to investigate and take the
appropriate action to assess and deal with the situation.
On
arrival, our Officer will check the property for intrusion and take
action as necessary, or confirm that all is in order. If necessary,
Emro Security Bureau will arrange for any resecuring of the property
that may be required or provide a temporary security presence. We also
have boarding-up and ancillary services at our disposal, should they
be needed.
Our
attending your premises will reduce the burden on your staff responding
to alarms and, more importantly, ensure continuing provision of response
by the police, as well as facilitating access by the emergency services,
alarm engineers, cleaning staff etc. You will be supplied with a full
report of the event and any action taken.
The
Alarm Response service is an extremely cost effective service that ensures
your staff are not exposed to potential threats when entering your premises
during out of hours times or when alarm activation has occurred. Emro
Security Bureau will act as an official key holder, to deal with the
situation in your absence.
