Keyholding

The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) states in their POLICY ON POLICE RESPONSE TO SECURITY SYSTEMS that an alarmed company's responsibilities include:-

a. At least two key holders must be available for emergency 24-hour response.
b. They must be contactable by telephone 24-hours a day.
c. They must reside within twenty minutes travelling time of the premises.
d. They must be able to provide their own transport.
e. They must be familiar with the premises and the alarm system.

Failure to comply with these conditions might result in withdrawal of Police response and hence invalidate insurance cover.
Our Keyholding service supplements that of Alarm Response.

Emro Security Bureau will hold your keys securely until required and only release them under authorised signature. If there is an alarm, our Officers will attend with your keys and deal with the situation. This means that in the event of an incident we are able to take immediate action to resecure the premises, without having to contact you.

If you prefer, we can escort you or your designated keyholder to the premises. This Emro Security Bureau Accompanied Visit Service is designed to protect our Clients' valuable assets – and employees.
For a small premium the Emro Security Bureau Keyholding Response will offer you peace of mind whenever an emergency arises, whatever it may be.

Locking and Unlocking Premises:

An Emro Security Bureau Officer can visit your company at the end of the working day and carry out internal and external inspections to ensure that your premises are correctly secured, preventing the occurrence of breaches of security such as windows being left open, alarm systems not being set, emergency exits being restricted and office equipment and lights not turned off etc.
In addition a similar visit can be arranged when the building is to be opened to check security before your staff arrive at work and to ensure that essential services are switched on and ready. This can include the unsetting of alarm systems and the provision of temporary control of reception areas.
All keys to client premises are held in a secure environment at our local Regional Control Centre. The benefits to Emro Security Bureau clients are:

1. Peace of mind that their premises are secure.
2. No out of hour’s risk of disturbance to their personal life.
3. No out of hours risk to their personnel.
4. Personnel holding keys have been thoroughly security vetted.
5. Immediate response to emergencies.
